The mission at The Bridge Arts, Autism, and Inclusion is deeply personal. I’ve always known that everyone learns differently, often because of their unique "superpower"—neurodiversity. There is no one-size-fits-all. My journey has taught me the incredible power of patience, encouragement, and dedicated one-on-one support. I feel truly blessed to have met so many neurodiverse individuals throughout my life. I have watched them blossom with confidence and live beautiful lives when given an accepting environment. Their friendship has been a gift, teaching me daily about the depth of their creativity and strength.
Neurodiversity is a term used to describe the variation in how people think, learn, and experience the world. This term is used when referring to autism, but includes many forms of brain differences. Autism doesn’t just affect the person who is neurodiverse but also those around them. Parents, family, friends, caregivers, classmates, and communities. That is why The Bridge was made: to provide a space for neurodiverse individuals and families to feel accepted, understood, and celebrated.
At The Bridge, we use art as an outlet for expression—a way to empower those who may not always feel confident or understood. Whether your child is gifted in painting, drawing, video games, acting, singing, or dancing, we are here to help them discover and nurture those gifts. We also understand that many of our friends have light, sound, or noise sensitivities. We are continuously working to ensure our environment is fun and accessible for all types of sensory needs.
We are the bridge that helps you and your child connect to the world, growing with the confidence and independence that comes from knowing you truly belong.
